What does God want for us all?
1 Timothy 2:4
Do you know what God expects of you? One could argue that God would expect many different things from us - but the most important thing he expects is salvation for everyone. He wants salvation through confessions; which means are will not perish. Confessions are an important part of one's salvation， as it acts as a good deed. Once you acknowledge God as your saviour， confessions will follow， and then to your salvation. God wants everyone to know the ultimate truth， and that ultimate truth is belief that Jesus died on the cross for us and our sins. Therefore， we need to do God's work with God's measure in mind. As in today's message. I hope that you have found salvation and have come to know the ultimate truth.
하나님은 무엇을 원하실까요? (딤전 2:4)
여러분은 하나님이 우리에게 무엇을 원하시는지 아십니까? 여러 가지로 말할 수 있겠지만 오늘 본문을 보니까 먼저 하나님은 모든 사람이 구원 받기를 원하신다고 하셨습니다. 이는 하나님은 아무도 멸망치 않고 다 회개하기에 이르기를 원하신다는 말씀입니다. 왜냐하면 구원은 회개가 선행되어야 이루어지기 때문입니다. 예수님을 나의 구주와 주인으로 영접하면 회개가 일어나고 구원이 이루어지게 됩니다. 그리고 하나님은 모든 사람이 진리를 아는데 이르기를 원하신다고 하셨습니다. 그 진리는 예수님이 모든 사람을 위해 자기를 대속물로 주신 것을 믿는 것입니다. 이것이 바로 하나님이 알려주신 구원받는 진리입니다. 그러므로 우리는 이러한 하나님의 마음을 헤아려서 하나님이 원하시는 일을 해야 합니다. 아무쪼록 오늘 본문 말씀처럼 구원을 받고 진리를 알아 가시기를 주님의 이름으로 축원드립니다.
