Reflecting ourselves from Peter’s Fault (Luke 22:54-62)

Good morning,
I would like to bring you up, in this Palm Sunday, about the Peter’s fatal fault happened during the Holy Week. Peter had never thought about the denial against Jesus Christ except in case of his death. But, when he got focused by the peoples of a chief priest, he has denied Jesus Christ 3 times against being or knowing him, which is Jesus had anticipated already.
Why do you think this has happened to him ? Firstly, Peter has been over convinced himself. This reminds us of being with Holy Spirit and holding tight with faith for the God beyond our death. Secondly, he had missed the moment for the prayers. We have to be armed by the prayers all the time in order not to fall down. Lastly, he might have been disappointed by the aspect of human like when Jesus had been arrested effortlessly. This makes him block his sight to see the real power of Jesus and get away from Jesus. We have to measure the distance between Jesus and us constantly for this reason.
Thank you. God Bless you.
