Why did God make the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Gensis 2:16-17)
선악과를 만드신 이유 (창 2:16-17)
When God created the world， why would God have created the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? Many people question what God's intentions were with the tree. However， the tree contains surprising good news.
하나님께서 세상을 창조하실 때 선악과를 만드신 이유는 무엇일까요? 많은 분들이 부정적으로 생각하여 하나님을 의롭지 못한 분이라고 생각합니다. 그러나 선악과에는 놀랄만한 복음이 들어 있습니다.
That good news is that the tree shows and defines our relationship with God. God gave Adam and Eve the power of endless freedom; except for the tree. And we shouldn't question his command， and just obey him because he is our creator.
그것은 바로 우리에게 하나님과 우리는 어떤 관계인지를 분명하게 보여주고 있는 것입니다. 하나님은 사람을 창조하실 때 다른 피조물들에 대해 왕적인 통치권을 주셨지만 어디까지나 하나님의 명령에 복종해야 하는 피조물임을 인식하게끔 하기 위하여 선악과를 만드신 것입니다. 그래서 선악을 알게 하는 나무의 열매만큼은 먹지 못하게 한 것입니다.
God created the tree of Knowledge of good and evil though， for the purpose of receiving glory from us obeying him. Even now， God expects us to glorify him on our own volition.
하나님이 우리를 창조하신 목적도 영광을 받기 위함인 것 같이， 선악과를 만드신 이유도 자유의지로 하나님과의 언약을 지켜 순종하게 하고자 했던 것입니다. 그래서 하나님은 지금도 우리에게 자율적인 순종을 요구하시는 것입니다.
