How can we show our devotion to our parents? (ephesians 6:1-3)
Christianity puts much emphasis on respecting one's parents. this is apparent as one of the ten commandments is Honor thy Mother and Father. Therefore， in what ways can we honor our parents? First， we must obey our parents. To obey your parents is to sincerely listen and take into much consideration as to what your parents are saying. Second is to honor thy parents To honor your parents is to view them as the most precious people in your life. This commandment is the first commandment that is not just a straight rule from God; but a promise from God that if we honor our Mothers and Fathers our life will be a blessed one. There are four ways to honor your parents. 1) ensure that they believe in Jesus Christ. 2) Ensure their happiness of their children. 3) Do not judge them of their faults. 4) Fulfill their needs. I bless that you all become children that honor your parents.
2017. 05. 14 - 부모를 어떻게 섬겨야 하는가? (엡 6:1-3)
기독교는 부모님께 효도를 강조하고 있는 종교입니다. 그래서 십계명 중에서 인간을 향한 첫 번째 계명이 ‘네 부모를 공경하라’ 입니다. 그러면 부모를 어떻게 섬겨야 할까요? 첫째， 순종해야 합니다. 순종이라는 말은 부모님의 말씀에 관심과 애정을 가지고 귀를 기울이라는 것입니다. 그래서 순종하기 위해서는 부모님 말씀을 경청해야 하며 부모님을 자랑스럽게 생각해야 합니다. 둘째， 공경해야 합니다. 공경이라는 말은 부모님을 귀하게 여기는 것입니다. 부모를 공경해야 하는 이유는 약속 있는 첫 계명이고 우리가 잘되고 장수하는 일이기 때문입니다. 그래서 부모님을 잘 공경하기 위해서는 1) 부모님을 예수님을 믿게 해야 하고 2) 부모님의 마음을 기쁘시게 해드리며 3) 부모님의 실수를 알게 되었을 때 비난하지 않아야 합니다. 4) 그리고 부모님의 필요와 부족을 채워드려야 합니다. 그런 자녀분들이 다 되시기를 주님의 이름으로 축원드립니다.
