Have you felt disappointed by God? (Jeremiah 3:18-26)
During your spiritual journey， have you ever felt let down by God? Anyone can feel let down by God， especially when you feel like he isn't answering your prayers. Then one can become skeptical of their relationship with God. Jeremiah once went through this situation， and confessed that he had lost all hope in God. However， Jeremiah was able to reverse those feelings and restore his relationship with God.
Just like Jeremiah， we will all have moments in our life where we will be disappointed by certain people and things. The difference is， though; who will be able to reverse their feelings and restore their hope again. So what can we do when we feel helpless and feel like we've been left behind by God?
First， we must pray our charitable and compassionate God. Second， we must remember that God means everything to us and we must await his salvation. As God means everything to us; he alone fulfills all aspects of our needs. So when we are in despair and feel like we are in the dark; this is the most important hive to remember all the wonderful attributes of God. I bless that you all will remember our compassionate God in moments of darkness.
2017. 07. 09 - 하나님께 실망했습니까? (애 3:18-26)
혹시 여러분은 신앙생활 하다가 하나님께 실망할 일은 없었습니까? 누구나 자신의 기도제목이 이루어지지 않았을 때에는 하나님께 실망하여 신앙생활에 대하여 회의를 가질 때가 있습니다. 예레미야도 그런 일을 당하여 여호와께 대한 내 소망이 끊어졌다고 고백하였습니다. 하지만 그는 하나님께 대한 실망을 다시 소망으로 역전시켜 나갔습니다.
이처럼 사람은 누구나 사람이나 일에 실망할 수는 있습니다. 그러나 문제는 그 실망스러운 일들을 어떻게 소망으로 역전시켜 나가는가가 중요한 것입니다. 그러면 나의 힘과 소망이 끊어지고 하나님께 실망될 때에 어떻게 해야 하는가요?
첫째는 하나님의 인자와 긍휼이 무궁하심을 기억하고 기도해야 합니다. 둘째는 하나님을 자기의 기업으로 삼고 하나님의 구원을 바라고 기다려야 합니다. 하나님을 자기의 기업으로 삼는다는 것은 하나님을 자신의 모든 것으로 삼는 것을 뜻합니다. 이는 하나님 한 분만으로 충분하다는 것입니다. 이것이 바로 우리가 하나님께 실망될 때일수록 가져야 할 소망인 것입니다. 아무쪼록 이런 성도님들이 다 되시기를 주님의 이름으로 축원드립니다.
